You’ve found the college of your dreams, you’ve got the required scores on all of your standardized tests, you’ve hit your target GPA, and you’ve received that coveted acceptance letter…now how are you going to pay for it?

Toby Rose’s College Prep of Miami, Inc. have taken a significant step in ensuring success in their quests for scholarship dollars. Independent College Counselor Toby Rose focuses her attention and imparts her knowledge directly and personally upon each student in the program, and helps each student discover and apply for the scholarships that most closely match their needs, grades, and/or talents.

There are scholarships for high grades in high school, for being part (even a small part) of a certain minority group, for participation in various activities, for having a musical or theatrical talent, or for being the first in a generation to attend college. There are even scholarships for students who are extremely tall or short, for being left-handed, or for being overweight! Corporations sponsor many scholarships, as do civic organizations.

Most people are aware of scholarships offered for those with talent in sports such as football, basketball, and baseball, but many are not aware that a student with competitive talent in ping-pong may also be eligible for tremendous financial assistance from a university with a sanctioned ping-pong team!

Students who have been successful in securing scholarship money have done so primarily due to submitting an outstanding essay (or several essays, as some scholarships require up to five different essays in their application packets). Students in the Toby Rose’s
College Prep Application Program receive one-on-one assistance with the entire scholarship process, from finding the scholarships best suited to them to filling out and submitting the application forms. Writing Specialists on staff meet with the students to help them create and perfect their winning essays.
